Thanks David. My wife used to work part-time, but there is no reason for her not to find a full-time job. As the children will get a bit older, I want to work more and to achieve my pre-marriage earnings of £80K-£100K. However, I'm reluctant to share it. Hello, I'm about to file for divorce and have a question about spousal maintenance / clean break. Our marriage lasted 9 years, followed by 2 years separation. We have two children - 7 and 5 years old - they live with me since we have separated (it's court ordered and won't change in foreseeable future). My wife doesn't work now (her own choice), but haven't requested any maintenance
