Terry please can you say more about agreeing costs first. I thought you couldn't miss the 7 day deadline for returning the petition. How do you do it in without prejudice correspondence. Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I understand about the split etc. I worded my query badly. What i meant was can I resist or delay the sale of the house (when we finally get around to discussing finances) until I have had plenty of time to find suitable accomodation. There are no children. In other words, if we do end up in court, and the Judge says say a 50/50 split, is he likely to agree the house sal

My husband has recently left me. We jointly own the house - there is no mortgage. He has said he wants the house sold as soon as possible to get his "share". I don't want to sell any time soon.
