Thanks for your reply. Sorry if I haven't been clear.. I haven't signed anything yet. I have all the paperwork ready to go but am away my ex's cooperation. He has been sent forms which his solicitor won't release to him until he's paid an outstanding fee to them... This is what he's said... I think the form is for him to sign and say he agrees 2 years separation. If he doesn't compl

I've filed for 2 years separation with consent on the grounds the divorce is not contested or delayed. I have given 14 days to get him to sign and return the form. He keeps refusing saying he needs a loan to pay his solicitor then says he has stopped instructing them. He owes £900 outstanding fees from June 2017. It's been made very clear that if he doesn't comply he will have to pay fo

He has said he is willing to sit down together and discuss this privately with me but I am not comfortable doing that at all. I really would like to see a mediator. Is him refusing due to lack of funds and acceptable redusal given that he has suggested doing it ourselves? Which I do not want as mentally I would not be able to cope with it

No this was officially sent. We have put 'in the event we do not receive the consent form then we will have no choice but to petition on the grounds of unreasonable behaviour and seek full costs against you'

So what do I do? Shall I just wait 14 days and then file for UB? Do I tell him I don't accept his reply? I'm unsure of my next step? I'm very reluctant to have too much contact with my solicitor as even thinking about this divorce is costing me ha ha! Can I actually recover the costs if he doesn't comply to my first request?

I have sent out 2 years with consent to my ex. If he doesn't agree and sign the we have threatened going down the route of UB and him coughing up the costs. He emailed me today saying he will only agree if I pay ALL legal costs. He has refused legal representation and I have a solicitor, what happens now?

I hope someone can advise where I stand and what I can do please. - separated 2 years - have a child under 16 together - ready to send petition to court. Ex can't afford his legal fees and wants me to pay half. I asked him to send everything to my solicitor so I can look at it. He declined - he hardly sees his child. Once a week. Regularly changes plans and cancels. Gives his child no sta
