I understand that consent order is a legal agreement between both parties, however say if the paying partner has illness which affects his ability to work and pay the agreed amount then what happens?

But how can he when he has a lump sum saving account and currently owe a house, has mortgage though. It just makes no sense to me and he has zero debt lol. His only debt he was thinking was solicitor fees from going to the court. That is if we can't make an agreement, the it will have to be court we are heading to. He's saying if he can't pay solicitor fees then he would have to declare bankrupt

50:50 split of the house, is that usually paid as lump sum? Can it be paid monthly for a certain period? Husbands trying to say he's got no money and can only pay me monthly for the next 15 years.. is that possible? We are talking about £550 per monthly for the next 15 years

Bubblegum, there just wasn't a box for me to tick at all in part 2 where they said I must complete part 2. No boxes there are appropriate for me. Should I leave it blank? Also regarding the finance income, is it only the net income I fill if we both agreed to have periodic payment for maintence? No other finance involved just child maintenance.

Is mediation a must even though we have come to our own agreement and preparing consent order? From the gov site, it day I have to fill in financial order form, but this form can only be returned once mediation has taken place? Confused

Hi I know nothing about their profession, but just want to know how much they charge roughly per session or hourly? Or however they calculate? I know the fees are very expensive so I'm considering online divorce if any one has had experience?
