Divorce and taxable income
xhikarux - 08 January, 2018 05:34PM
We have been divorced for a while now. Is divorce settlement taxable?

We both agreed that the ex should keep his house while I move out. He didn't have enough savings in his account to pay me a lump sum therefore I agreed to monthly instalments of a few hundred pounds until he pays it all. Does anyone know if the monthly amount counts as taxiable income?
