Wedding Certificate Translation
jacktorrance - 27 November, 2017 12:40PM
Hello all,

I was married in France and understand that I need to get the wedding certificate translated into English before divorcing in the UK.
There are several places offering this service online but I wanted to check whether there are any recommendations from those who have had this done in the past and had the document accepted successfully as part of their divorce submission.

Many thanks.

The translation has to be effected in a particular way so you need to tell the translator explicitly that you require the translation in order to issue a divorce petition. A professional translator should be familiar with the requirements.
