How long for a consent order to be sealed?
AO - 28 October, 2017 12:06PM
Hi,

How long does it take for a consent order to be processed? Mine was sent to the courts by solicitor on the 3rd of this month it seems to be taking a very long time.

Also I have been advised by my solicitor not to go for the absolute until this is back so how much longer can I reasonably expect to wait until everything is back?

Any advice appreciated.

It depends on how busy the court is at that time. Some courts can take from 8-10 weeks.

Just be patient (hard I know) and listen to your solicitor as (s)he knows best.

All the best.

I was told 8 weeks if it isn't rejected.
