Child matter
suman - 28 July, 2017 07:23AM
Hi All,

My soon to be Ex is running a parallel divorce proceedings overseas which the judge criticised in FDA and asked him to close. He has responded now in the questionnaire that he is seeking legal advice. I have just found out that he is running a parallel child custody proceedings overseas as well for the last one year. I have a child contact order in place and the next child matter hearing is on 11th sept.

NOw that I have found out that there is parallel child proceedings overseas, I am worried that he may take the child away overseas and get me and the child involved in overseas legal proceedings. Please advise if I can move an application in the interim to cancel the child contact until the next hearing.

Thanks
