I understand that consent order is a legal agreement between both parties, however say if the paying partner has illness which affects his ability to work and pay the agreed amount then what happens?

There seem to be a lot of 'ifs' in your case. Judging from the number of your posts and the nature of them it difficult to take all your 'what ifs' seriously.
